SPYRAL Knightmare Deck June 2018

Knightmare is a good archetype, because making so many other archetype become more powerful, including the famous SPYRAL. Also this version of Knightmare is stronger than the Gouki version, because you can summon 7 monster in one turn, occupied every single Monster Zone. And don't forget the unbreakable Sleeper - Last Resort that will destroy 2 card from your opponent's Field, so even they try to do something, you'll easily stop them before something bad happens. About SPYRAL Archetype

SPYRAL is an archetype that based on James Bond spy series and Metal Gear Solid video games. This archetype is focused on easy summon. You can easily summon SPYRAL Super Agent by guessing type of card on top of your opponent's deck. And SPYRAL Gear - Drone can rearrange 3 card from top of your opponent's deck, so you'll guaranteed summon Super Agent by this combo. SPYRAL Mission Assault and Rescue can help you summon more SPYRAL monster, so you can have enough material to Link Summon SPYRAL Double Helix that can search or Special Summon SPYRAL monster from deck by guessing type of card of your opponent's deck. Also Double Helix is treated as Super Agent to, so Quik Fix can use his recovery effect to special summon from Graveyard. With some many ways to summon monster, SPYRAL has potential to spam link monster, of course with the help of Firewall Dragon.

SPYRAL Knightmare Play-style

A bit different from pure SPYRAL play, because in this deck you'll focus on abusing Master Plan and Firewall Dragon to spam as much monster as you can. With help of Knightmare monsters, you can discard SPYRAL Mission card that can banished from Graveyard to summon more monster. And lastly, summon the mighty Sleeper and equip him with Last Resort and you'll end with super powerful board and Iblee on your opponent's Field. Tips #1

Armageddon Knight help this deck so much. With his effect you can send SPYRAL Master Plan, Destrudo or even Darkwurm. If you have Dragon Ravine or Dragon Shrine, just use Armageddon Knight to send Master Plan if you can't summon Double Helix. You can revive Master Plan with SPYRAL Mission Rescue or SPYRAL Gear - Big Red

Tips #2

Just in case if you wondering "why is Darkwurm doing in this deck without any Supreme Gate?". Darkwurm is a free monster if you have Dragon Ravine or Dragon Shrine in your hand and already have Destrudo either in your hand or Graveyard. BECAUSE Ravine and Shrine will be useless if you draw or accidentaly send Destrudo to your Graveyard (i.e. by opponent's effect)

Tips #3

Never summon Iblee to your opponent's Field if you failed to perform Extra Link or you can't Summon Sleeper equiped with Last Resort. Some player will have Knightmate Mermaid too (or adding some when siding), so you just give them a free material for their combo

SPYRAL Knightmare Key Cards

Key Card #1 Armageddon Knight

This monster will give you another way to access Destrudo or the important Master Plan. His effect isn't once per turn, also can be triggered even if Special Summoned. So it's possible to send multiple monster with this card, that will lead to bigger combo

Key Card #2 SPYRAL Master Plan

Thanks to Armageddon Knight and Powertool Dragon, you can get easier access to this card, not just the usual way via Double Helix effect. With this card you can add SPYRAL Mission that can be discarded with Knightmare effects, so you can use SPYRAL Mission effect on Graveyard. Thanks this effect is "once per turn" so you can use it over and over as long you can remove Master Plan from Field and revive her again. So this monster is good for link material and providing Knightmare cost. And don't forget you can add the two most important card of this deck Resort and Quik Fix

Key Card #3 Quik Fix

Become limited doesn't mean you can easily access this card. With help from Master Plan, you can add this card from Deck. Quik Fix has very good effect that can be used to add SPYRAL Gear like Drone, Big Red, and the most important : Last Resort. Last piece of combo that can make unbreakable Sleeper

SPYRAL Knightmare Weakness

With similar formation and capabilty, this deck has similar weakness with Gouki Knightmare Deck.

Another Card Recommendation

To use Powertool combo, you need to don't have any SPYRAL Gear - Big Red on yourhand. So if you think this combo brick too much, you can add Supreme King Gate Zero and Odd-Eyes Meteorburst Dragon as option to summon the mighty Number 42 : Galaxy Tomahawk. All you need is Armageddon Knight and Dragon Ravine/Shrine on your hand.

Just in case you facing another Knightmare user, try using Effect Veiler or Infinite Impermanence to stop their combo, or you can add Ghost Reaper and Winter Cheries to banish their Firewall Dragon or Knightmare Mermaid. Or just preparing some Droll & Lock Bird to prevent them to add any more card.
