D/D/D Deck Link Format December 2017

Rival of Sasaki Yuya, Akaba Reiji, is a D/D/D user. With awesome combo this archetype can make many powerful monster, even in one turn. Not only has powerful ATK, but also fearful effects. From reviving their friend, turn damage into life point, even negating effect. All of that in one archetype. This deck is very popular in Pendulum Era because very powerful, but need skill to play because of many and complicated combo to make powerful board. So not only spending much time to build the deck, but you also must practice to make a good board with this archetype. But, once you master this archetype, you can play like a boss, like a CEO Akaba Reiji.

About D/D/D Archetype

D/D/D is stands for Different Dimension Daemon, all Dark Fiend-Type monsters. Actually this is a sub-archetype of D/D, but name D/D/D is more popular among duelist. This deck can play all summoning method, except Ritual. D/D/D monsters are named after either a historical person, usually a military leader, or some form of the end of the world (e.g. "Armageddon") and they encompass all of the Extra Deck Summon Monsters (except Link Monsters) as well as some Main Deck Effect Monsters. Most of them have an attributed office role from a pun on their name, creating a demonic hierarchy-themed archetype.

D/D/D most powerful monsters are the three Super Doom King. Each of the "Super Doom King" monsters are based on past main antagonists from previous series. Purplish Armageddon for Zorc Necrophades and Nightshroud; Bright Armageddon for Z-one; Dark Armageddon for Don Thousand and the Barian Emblem that serves as his symbol. D/D/D Play-style

I think D/D/D is a combination of swarm and beatdown. But in this new deck, I focus on Control. First summoning a lower level fusion than use it with tuner to Link summon Crystron Needlefiber, and you know what next : summoning monster that can negate opponent effect. Combo #1

Cards needed : D/D Savant Kepler, D/D Lamia, D/D Swirl Slime, any D/D Monster

First normal summon D/D Savant Kepler. Use its effect to add Dark Contract wih the Gate from deck. Activate Dark Contract wih the Gate effect to add D/D/D Oblivion King Abyss Ragnarok from deck. Set D/D/D Oblivion King Abyss Ragnarok to Pendulum Card Zone. Then activate D/D Swirl Slime effect to use itself and 1 D/D monster from hand to Fusion Summon D/D/D Flame King Genghis. Banish D/D Swirl Slime from graveyard to special summon D/D Lamia from hand. Use D/D/D Flame King Genghis and D/D Lamia to Synchro Summon D/D/D Gust King Alexander. This wil trigger D/D/D Oblivion King Abyss Ragnarok effect and special summon D/D/D Flame King Genghis from graveyard with this effect. And this will trigger D/D/D Gust King Alexander effect and special summon D/D Lamia from graveyard with this effect. Use D/D/D Gust King Alexander and D/D Lamia to Link Summon Crystron Needlefiber. Use Crystron Needlefiber effect to special summon another D/D Lamia from your deck. This wil trigger D/D/D Flame King Genghis effect and special summon D/D/D Gust King Alexander from graveyard with this effect. D/D/D Key Cards

Key Card #1 D/D Swirl Slime

Used in major combo, thanks to Dark Contract wih the Gate and D/D Savant Kepler, you can easily access this card. Has 2 main purpose : Fusion Summon and Special Summon one D/D monster from hand.

Key Card #2 D/D Lamia

Also used in major combo, easy to search with D/D Savant Kepler, Dark Contract wih the Gate, One for One, or Where Arf Thou?. With ability to summon itself, make a good combo with D/D/D Oblivion King Abyss Ragnarok, D/D/D Flame King Genghis, D/D/D Gust King Alexander, or D/D/D Flame High King Executive Genghis.

Key Card #3 Crystron Needlefiber

Very easy to summon with D/D Lamia. Giving access to another Extra Deck Monster with its Link Marker. And also give you one plus Tuner Monster so you can summon more powerful Sunchro Monster.

Weakness

With so many card to search for Key Cards, the only weakness is bad luck. Only a very very bad hand will make you lose. Just kidding, cards that can disable or counter swarming or searching, like Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo or Thunder King Rai-Oh, can greatly hinder this Deck. And also Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring can easily break this deck combo. Many deck has that card this day, so be careful.

Another Card Recommendation

D/D/D Gust High King Alexander is a good choice for this deck, you can summon this with help of Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring. If you love "Super Doom", you can add D/D/D Super Doom King Purplish Armageddon, you can summon this with help of Dark Contract wih the Swamp King. D/D/D Super Doom King Dark Armageddon is a good replacement for D/D/D Duo-dawn King Kali Yuga, since you can easily summon more than 2 Level 8 D/D/D monsters with Combo#2. And you can add D/D/D Super Doom King Bright Armageddon if you add D/D Ghost to this deck. You can also add Foolish Burial to send D/D card that have another effect in Graveyard.
