Fluffal Fusion Deck Link Format April 2018

Stuffed animal possessed by evil, that's the best way to describe this deck. Actually this deck has three archetype on it, Fairy-type Fluffal, Fiend-type Edge Imp, and Fusion monster Frightfur. Since most of monsters are from Fluffal archetype, many people call deck like his as Fluffal deck. This deck is a heavily fusion deck, and you'll use the old-school Fusion Spell : Polymerization. It's very rare now to use something like Polymerization because Fusion-based archetype often have their own Fusion Spell. But, surprisingly this deck get their best combo from the very first Fusion Spell : Polymerization. Not only once, but you can also activate multiple copies of Polymerization in one turn, and for one purpose : One Turn Kill. Here we go : Fluffal Fusion Deck 2018.

About Fluffal, Edge Imp, and Frightfur Archetype

Fluffal is an archetype of Fairy-type monsters. All of them looks like cute stuffed animal. Mostly of them are EARTH Attribute. Fluffal monster has various effect that help us get more card for Fusion Summon. Some of them are searcher, some of them has draw power, and some of them has recovery effect. With a mere luck, we can get so much material for Fusion Summon.

On the other hand, Edge Imp is an archetype of DARK Fiend-type monsters. They visually appear to be strange creatures made up of objects used for cutting or breaking, like scissors and tomahawks, with two glowing pink eyes within a shadowed area. In Shiuin Sora's chant during Fusion Summon, he call Edge Imp as object possessed by demons.

And the Fusion Monsters Frightfur are an archetype of Fiend-type monsters that listed Fluffal and Edge Imp as fusion material. All of the are DARK monster, except of WATER attribute Frightfur Kraken. All of them looks like destroyed stuffed animal combined with sharp object from Edge Imp. Giving them more terrifying looks. This archetype classified into two class : "mini-boss" and "boss". Mini-boss Frightfur needs Edge Imp and Fluffal monster to summon, some of them can be summoned with multiple Fluffal monsters to gain some advantage. The boss Frightfur monsters need another Frightfur Fusion monster as material.

Fluffal Play-style

The strategy is simple, draw and draw, the Fusion. This deck has so many draw power from Toy Vendor and Fluffal Wing. After first fusion, you can also get draw power from Fluffal Penguin. For Link play you can use Fuffal Sheep that can be special summoned if you control another Fluffal monster. With so much draw power and recovery ability, fusion is a piece of cake. With Frightfur effect, you can pop your opponents card, then attack with all your attack-boosted Fusion Monsters for OTK. Fluffal-Frightfur Deck Tips and Combos

Combo #1

Cards needed : Fluffal Dog and Frightfur Patchwork

1. Normal summon Fluffal Dog, use the effect to add any Fluffal monster from deck to your hand
2. Activate Frightfur Patchwork to add Polymerization and Edge Imp Chain from deck to your hand
3. Activate Polymerization to Fusion Summon Frightfur Kraken, using Edge Imp Chain and Fluffal Dog as material. Use Kraken effect to send 1 of opponents card on field if you want.
4. This will trigger Edge Imp Chain effect, use the effect to add Frightfur Factory to your hand
5. Activate Frightfur Factory, use the effect to banish Polymerization and Fusion Summon Frightfur Saber-Tooth, using Fluffal monster and Frightfur Kraken as material
6. Use Saber-Tooth effect to special summon Kraken from graveyard

Combo #2

Cards needed : Fluffal Bear, Fluffal Dog, and Frightfur Patchwork

1. Normal summon Fluffal Dog, use the effect to add Fluffal Wing from deck to your hand
2. Activate Frightfur Patchwork to add Polymerization and Edge Imp Saber from deck to your hand
3. Send Fluffal Bear to set Toy Vendor from deck to your field
4. Activate Toy Vendor and discard Fluffal Wing to draw 1 card
5. Activate Fluffal Wing effect, banish it and Fluffal Bear, also send Toy Vendor to graveyard to draw 2 more cards
6. This will trigger Toy Vendor effect, add Fluffal Cat from deck to your hand
7. Activate Polymerization to Fusion Summon Frightfur Tiger, using Edge Imp Saber, Fluffal Dog, and Fluffal Cat as material. With this Tiger effect can destroy up to 3 cards.
8. This will trigger Fluffal Cat effect, return Polymerization from graveyard to your hand
9. Return 1 card from your hand to top of the deck, then special summon Edge Imp Saber from graveyard
10. Activate Polymerization to Fusion summon Frightfur Saber-Tooth, using Frightfur Tiger and Edge Imp Saber as material
11. Use Saber-Tooth effect to special summon Tiger from graveyard

Tips #1

Polymerization is a critical card for this deck. If you end up with just 1 Polymerization and don't have any card to search other copy of this card. Use Fluffal Dog or Toy Vendor effect to search for Fluffal Cat. So you can recover your Polymerization from graveyard

Tips #2

This deck has so many draw power. Card like Fluffal Wing, Fluffal Penguin, and Toy Vendor let you to draw more and more. Also this deck has so many search engine. So from my perspective, you won't need any other draw power like Pot of Desires

Tips #3

Don't Fusion summon Frightfur Wolf, unless using Frightfur Fusion and banishing material from graveyard. It's true that this deck is good for OTK, but better if you have Link monster, so you can control another Frightfur fusion like Tiger or Saber-Tooth to boost Wolf attack.

Tips #4

If you planning to Fusion summon Frightfur Saber-Tooth. Don't forget to use Frightfur Kraken effect to send 1 card before using it as material for Saber-Tooth, because in the end, you'll special summon Kraken with Saber-Tooth effect, and you can still attack twice with Kraken

Tips #5

With Toy Vendor and Edge Imp Saber combo, you can get guaranteed Fluffal draw. Which mean you'll get free special summon 1 monster from your hand.

Tips #6

Don't hesitate to use Frightfur Saber-Tooth as material to fusion summon another Saber Tooth. Because in the end you can summon that from your graveyard. 2 Saber Tooths mean your monster's ATK will boosted by 800 point. 

Fluffal Fusion Key Cards

Key Card #1 Fluffal Dog

Main searcher of this deck. Easier to use then Toy Vendor because you just need to summon this, either Normal Summon or Special Summon. You can search any Fluffal monster or Edge Imp Saber to complete your massive combo. With its Spell counterpart, Frightfur Patchwork, two Fusion Summon in ine turn is piece of cake

Key Card #2 Polymerization

Every Fusion deck needs Fusion Spell, and Polymerization is the best choice for this deck. Without Polymerization, this deck is dead. But don't worry, because this deck has so many ways to get this card to your hand. Many card can search for this card, and don't forget powerful draw power from this deck

Key Card #3 Frightfur Saber-Tooth

The only reason why this deck still survive in link era, while the other fusion-based deck really needs appropriate Link monster to works well. With this deck you can still won without do any Link Summon. With unbreakable and boosted-ATK effect, this card will give you an easy win

Fluffal Fusion Deck Weakness

With many search and draw power, only bad luck that will make this deck lose. Even if you only have Fluffal monsters in your hand, you'll find a way to search for Edge Imp and Polymerization. But be aware of Trickstar, because you'll add so many card to your hand, which means you'll dig your own grave. Also be aware of Masked Hero Dark Law, because your card will be banished instead. This deck still need graveyard to win, so no graveyard means no win.

Becoming Fusion based card needs you to activate many Spell, which mean card like Anti-Spell Fragrance will slow this deck, and Imperial Order will shut this deck down. Also card like Dimensional Barrier will makes you can't Fusion Summon.

Another Card Recommendation

Archlord Kristya is best non-Fluffal monster for this deck. All of Fluffal are Fairy-type, and get 4 Fairy in graveyard isn't hard because you can use multiple material to summon Tiger or Saber-Tooth. Just summon Kristya after summoning Saber-Tooth to lock your opponent to summon powerful monster, or to prevent your monster tributed for Kaiju. Also Kristya can be summoned via Toy Vendor effect.

If you think this deck needs more recovery, you can add Fluffal Rabbit. Or you can add Fluffal Angel that you can also use for reviving more Frightfur Monster from graveyar. And if you want full TCG list, you can add card like Fusion Recovery or Fusion Reserve to recover Polymerization and fusion material.
