Dinosaur-True King Deck Link Format March 2018

Dinosaur ft. True King is a very popular deck since Dinomasher's Fury Structure Deck released in 2017. Since Babycerasaurus and Petiteranodon are Earth monsters, True King Lithosagym, the Disaster becomes very useful for this deck. Together with other True King monsters, we can make a very powerful board. But sadly Lithosagym is banned now. But this doesn't mean Dinosaur True King became a bad deck. Don't underestimate the other True Kings, and also don't forget that Dinosaur has Fire and Water monster too. With a good mix, Dinosaur True King will makes your opponent almost can not do anything. About True King Archetype

True King, together with True Draco, is known as True Dragon (真竜 Shinryuu) in the OCG, so they're like "one family". True King itself is a Level 9 Wyrm monsters whose combined ATK and DEF equal 4800. Right now, we have 4 of them, and they share some similarities with the Dragon Rulers, such as the fact they are FIRE, WIND, WATER and EARTH-Attribute, share a combined sum of ATK and DEF among them, and have effects related to their Attributes. Four of them has similar effect that activate when they were destroyed or when they destroy two monsters that has same attribute when you special summon one of them.

Take a note that the WIND True King, Mariamne, doesn't have True King in her name, very different with the other True Kings. And their boss monster, True King of All Calamities, is a DARK Rank 9 XYZ Monster has known as one of anti-meta card because of his effect that can turn every monster Attribute into a declared Attribute, and preventing your opponent to use effect or attack with the selected Atribute, which is all of their monster. And the worst is, Calamites effect (not the changing Attribute one) affect all monsters in your opponent's possession, which is literally all of them. So if you know your Attribute that mostly in opponent's monster, choose it and you'll crippled your opponent's play.

Dinosaurs-True King Play-style

The strategy is simple : DESTROY. Don't hesitate to destroy cards such as Overtex Qualts or Miscellaneosaurus, because you can still use their effect in graveyard. Some Yang Zing support will get you a mighty Mare Mare, with a good combo you can end up with Naturia Beast or Toadally Awesome, a very good negation cards. Combo #1

Cards needed : Souleating Oviraptor, Lost World

1. Activate Lost World and normal summon Souleating Oviraptor
2. Use Oviraptor's effect to send Miscellaneousaurus from deck to graveyard
3. Use Lost World's effect to special summon Jurrasic Token to opponent's field
4. Use Oviraptor other effect to destroy Jurrasic Token, but with Lost World's effect, destroy Babycerasaurus from deck instead
5. This will trigger Babycerasaurus effect, special summon Jurrac Monoloph from deck
6. Use Monoloph and Oviraptor to synchro summon Yazi, the Evil of Yang Zing
7. Use Yazi to destroy himself and Jurrasic Token
8. This will trigger Yazi's effect, special summon Mare Mare from deck
9. Use Mare Mare effect to special summon 3 Mini Mare Mare Token, this will makes Mare Mare level go down to 4
10. Use 2 Mini Mare Mare Token to Link Summon Mistar Boy

2. This will trigger Babycerasaurus effect, special summon Souleating Oviraptor from deck
3. Use Oviraptor's effect to add another Babycerasaurus from deck to your hand
4. Normal summon Babycerasaurus
5. Use Oviraptor other effect to destroy Babycerasaurus to special summon another Babycerasaurus from graveyard
6. This will trigger Babycerasaurus effect, special summon Miscellaneousaurus from deck
7. Special summon Agnimazud, by destroying Miscellaneousaurus and Babycerasaurus on the field
8. This will trigger Babycerasaurus effect, special summon any level 4 Dinousaur from deck
9. Use Miscellaneousaurus effect to banish himself then special summon Jurrac Aeolo from deck

1. Activate Dragonic Diagram and use the effect to destroy Babycerasaurus in your hand, then add another True King monster
2. This will trigger Babycerasaurus effect, special summon Souleating Oviraptor from deck
3. Use Oviraptor's effect to add another Babycerasaurus from deck to your hand
4. Normal summon Babycerasaurus
5. Use Oviraptor other effect to destroy Babycerasaurus to special summon another Babycerasaurus from graveyard

Tips #1

If you accidentally draw Jurrac Monoloph, Mare Mare, or Megalosmasher X, don't panic. You can still return these cards to deck with Sayruja Skull Dread effect.

Tips #2

If you're looking for thin 40 cards deck, you can drop 1 Petiteranodon and Dogora, the Mad Flame Kaiju from this deck. Four dinosaur babies are more than enough. Don't forget you have 6 cards that can be used to search the babies.

Tips #3

In Combo #3 you can go for HI-Speed Chanbara instead of Naturia Beast, for more aggressive play. This move is best if you go second, also Calamities effect can still be used for next two turns. But you can use Calamities effect to turn all monster Attribute to Water and go for OTK.

Dinosaur True King Key Cards

Key Card #1 Souleating Oviraptor

A very important piece for almost all combo. Basically become the primary searcher for Dinosaur, for this deck mostly used for search the babies. And with help from True King destruction effect, we can summon this monster even without using our Normal summon, letting us to summon monster for making a big combo. That's why this card still limited in OCG

Key Card #2 Babycerasaurus

Having True King cards makes Babycerasaurus and Petiteranodon a star for this deck. Not being restricted to once per turn making the babies very good to spam more dinosaur from your deck. Usually used for bring out Oviraptor from deck, but later used for special summon other important cards like Miscellaneousaurus and the Jurracs. Very depends on your situation

Key Card #3 The True King Monsters

Since Lithosagym got banned, Agnimazud and Bahrastos become the main True King for this deck. A bit different from the old version of Dino True King, this new version doesn't really rely on True King destroyed effect, unless you have Agnumazud, Bahrastos, and Dragonic Diagram in your hand. But still, without True Kings, the dinosaur babies will become almost useless.

Dinosaur-True King Weakness

Ash Blossom of course. Can stop your combo from the first step. Also the Ghost Ogre will stop your field spell before you can activated their effect. Effect Viler also makes you Oviraptor useless. Basically, these three Hand Traps are a good counter against long combo.

A bad hand also gives a big problem, this happen when you draw Dinosaur cards only without any True Kings card or Terraforming. This deck also will get some problem if you going second, because this deck has no threat removing card but Ash Blossom and Dogora. So if you want 40 cards deck, don't drop Ash Blossom, because this card is a live saver.

Another Card Recommendation

Try to add threat removing card like Twin Twister or Cosmic Cyclone, because you can't go first forever. Adding another Hand Trap like Ghost Ogre is also a good idea. Or you can go for more destruction option with Survival's End, and be sure to add Foolish Burial Goods too. Another beater like Tyranno Infinity is a good idea, if you often summon Ultimate Conductor Tyranno. Or you can just use Miscellaneousaurus to get 4000 ATK beatdown monster.

If you don't like or have Sayruja you can use Borreload Dragon instead. Another good option for link 4, also good for dealing with annoying monster like Crystal Wing or Master Peace. Or you can use Borreload just to steal opponents monster.
